Monday, September 21, 2009 - Welcome to a New Year of Dragon Boat!!!
Background
Established in 2003, CADB is UCI's first Dragon Boat team. Using teamwork to paddle to victory in this competitive water sport, CADB combines athletics and ancient tradition into a forty-foot long boat shaped like a dragon. Our team competes with other college teams as well as adults in races held in: San Francisco; Long Beach; and Tempe, Arizona. We constantly strive to become better, faster, and stronger to fight our competition. Take some time to come out to try dragon boat, meet new people and even work out on the beach and in the water.
Open Practices
If you're interested in trying out dragon boat, we will be holding open practices on the following Saturdays: September 26, October 3, October 10 and October 17. We meet at the Short Term Parking Lot (next to the flag poles) at 9 AM. No experience is necessary, and we provide all the equipment! Just bring yourself and get ready to have fun while getting a good workout!
